About

Where the Name Comes From

Bing & Ash is named after two cats.

Bingbong is the girl. Ash Ketchum Bandicoot is the boy — named after a Pokémon trainer and a marsupial in a video game, which makes him a reference stacked inside another reference inside a cat.

It felt right for a brand built entirely on referencing things.

About

The Work

Bing & Ash makes streetwear for people who find most streetwear exhausting.

The reference point is 1970s Americana — the graphic design of that era specifically. Sun-bleached concert posters. Hand-lettered roadside signage. Editorial illustration that aged better than anyone expected. That visual language is the source material. The clothes are the output.

Every design goes through the same filter: reference, distillation, restraint. If something was trying too hard, it got cut. Unless it was too too hard, then we nurtured it as if it was bestowed upon the heavens themselves.

About

Made When You Order It

Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting. Every Bing & Ash piece is produced in response to a real order — which means no excess inventory, no unsold product, and no end-of-season landfill contribution.

Our Approach

Every Bing & Ash design starts with a specific reference — a decade, a medium, a moment in American graphic history. From there the process is distillation. What’s essential stays. What’s decorative gets cut. The result is clothing that looks like it came from somewhere real, because it did.

Work With Us
Bing & Ash is an early-stage brand with a long runway. We don’t have open positions at the moment, but we’re always interested in hearing from designers, photographers, and collaborators who understand the reference.
